Income Eligibility:
Maximum allowable income cannot exceed 60% of the Area Median Income for Barnstable County as follows:

Local Resident Definition:
Chatham Local Preference is defined as: Current residents of the Town of Chatham; Current Municipal Employee; Current Employee of Chatham Local Business; Household with children attending Chatham Schools
Applicants cannot use this voucher with any other State or Federal Housing Program.
Applications for this program will be available at the meetings or you may pick one up at the Chatham Housing Authority office at 240 Crowell Road, Chatham, MA between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning January 18, 2012.
Please Note: Participation Term: The Chatham Rental Assistance Program is funded for three (3) years, at which time the subsidy will end. Each Participant will be required to “graduate” from the program by either (1) purchasing their first home or (2) maintaining self-sufficiency in their current rental unit or in a new unit.
