INFORMATION ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING

In addition to the State – Aided Public Housing Programs, the CHA also assists the Town of Chatham with various other programs.

MCI Rent/Escrow Program:  This program assists working families to save for a down payment for a home of their own while living in rental units owned by the Town of Chatham and managed by the CHA. 

Chatham Voucher Program: The Authority has received grants from the Community Preservation Trust Fund.  See News and Press for availability of this program.

Chatham Homeownership Program (CHOP):  The Authority is the Resale Agency for this program.  See News and Press for availability of homes under this program.

Chatham Buy Down Program:  This program is available to those who are first time home buyers.  See News and Press for details of this program.
