The Anchorage, built in 1972, encompassing forty (40) one-bedroom units for senior citizens and disabled persons.
Captain Bearse Congregate House, opened in 1988, with nineteen (19) studio units for the elderly who require supportive living services.
Family on Site Housing, completed in 1988, which includes eight (8) three-bedroom and two (2) two-bedroom townhouses.
Barrier-Free Housing, Also part of the Family on Site program is one(1) three-bedroom barrier free unit and one (1) two-bedroom barrier free unit for the disabled.
Group Home for the Disabled/Kennedy-Donovan Center, begun in 1988, consists of a residence for six (6) disabled adults. The program was developed and is administered by the Department of Mental Retardation and operated under contract by the Kennedy-Donovan Foundation. Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program, begun in 1991, is a program for a limited number of low income families to remain in scattered-site, privately-owned rental housing throughout the community. The family contributes what the Commonwealth determines to be a fair share of allowable rent with a voucher subsidy paid directly to the landlord to make up the difference.
